About Us

Highams Park Day Nursery and Preschool in East London, provides quality childcare and early years education for children aged 3 months to 5 years. We understand how important it is to choose the right environment for your child’s care and education and we provide a welcoming, safe and secure place where your child’s individual learning needs are met and their development encouraged. The nursery has been fully refurbished to a high standard both indoors and out to provide a stimulating environment for our children.

 

We believe that each child deserves the best possible start in life and the support to fulfill their potential. A child's experience in the early years has a major impact on their future. A secure, safe and happy childhood is important and when parents or carers chose a nursery or preschool they want the assurance that the provision will keep their children safe and support them to thrive. The government's Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is the framework which the nursery follows in order to provide that assurance.

 

We are a member of the National Day Nursery Association and are registered with Ofsted. At our most recent Ofsted inspection we were rated as a good overall.  You can download the full report here.

 

 

Whether you require full time early years education or part time childcare for your child the nursery will do their upmost to accommodate your requirements.

 

We provide childcare from 7.45am to 6.30pm, 51 weeks per year (closed between Christmas and New Year and on Bank Holidays). Children can attend our nursery or preschool for full days (7.45am to 6.30pm) or half days (7.45am to 1pm or 1pm to 6.30pm).

 

Our nursery and preschool services are fully inclusive so your child will receive meals, snacks, milk, even nappies are provided. (See Meals and Nutrition for further information.)
